A staggered fitment is also referred to as a staggered application. Basically, it means that the wheels on the back of the vehicle are a different size than those on the front. Wider wheels are usually run on the back; for example, 19x8 on the front and 19x9.5 on the rear. This is typically done on rear wheel drive cars such as Infiniti G35, Nissan 350Z, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Ford Mustang, and others. Running wider wheels on the drive wheels means more grip on acceleration, and, from an aesthetic perspective, large lips. The TSW Stowe 20x10, for example, carries a large 3.5" lip.

A staggered fitment can also mean larger diameter wheels on rear, like 17" diameter on the front and 18" diameter on rear. Some examples of this would be aftermarket Acura NSX and Chevy Corvette.

Handling can be improved by running larger wheels. Larger wheels mean you will run a low profile tire, and usually, a wider tire. A low profile tire often performs better when cornering and braking, as tire roll is greatly reduced. A low profile tire will result in a stiffer ride.

Extremely large wheels, such as 24" and 26" wheels, are heavier and can increase braking distances. However, TSW will always endeavor to keep the wheels as light as possible without compromising the strength of the wheel.

Currently the TSW Stowe and Snetterton in 20x10 have the largest lip in the TSW range at a staggering 3.5". You can check the lip sizes of TSW Wheels on our wheel collection page.

With regular care and regular road conditions, TSW offers a one year finish warranty on its wheels with chrome and painted finishes. TSW provides a lifetime structural warranty for wheels it manufactures that are structurally unsound because of a manufacturing defect caused by TSW that makes the wheel unfit for its ordinary purpose. Damage or issues with wheels manufactured by TSW that are not caused by, or the result of, a manufacturing defect by TSW are not covered under the warranty. Additionally, the following are expressly excluded from the warranty:

• TSW does not offer a "road hazard warranty," so any damage or issue with a wheel caused by the wheel colliding with a pothole or any other object or debris will not be covered by the warranty;
• Wheels that have been used in racing are not covered by the warranty regardless of the damage or structural unsoundness; and
• Wheels mounted on vehicles with a load rating in excess of the load rating of the wheel are not covered by the warranty regardless of the damage or structural unsoundness.
• Wheels that have been modified, repainted, or powder coated.

THE WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF A WHEEL AND THE WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE ACTUAL AMOUNT TSW WAS PAID FOR THE WHEEL.
To submit a wheel for determination of coverage, a distributor must first obtain a Returned Goods Authorization number from an authorized TSW salesperson. Wheels sent to TSW without first obtaining a Returned Goods Authorization number will be refused and returned to sender. After obtaining the Returned Good Authorization number, THE DISTRIBUTOR WHO PURCHASED THE WHEEL FROM TSW must send the wheel by freight prepaid, as freight costs, shipping costs and any consequential damages are not covered by the warranty, to TSW headquarters in Brea, California for inspection by TSW. The invoice of the original purchase must be included with the wheel so TSW can verify the wheel is being submitted for coverage under the warranty by the original purchaser. A customer of a distributor cannot directly send a wheel for inspection to TSW as TSW does not communicate, correspond or deal in any way with the customers of TSW's distributors. A wheel submitted to TSW by a customer of the distributor will be returned.

After receiving a wheel submitted by a distributor for inspection, TSW will inspect the wheel and notify the distributor if the wheel is covered by the warranty. If TSW determines the wheel is covered by the warranty, TSW will issue a credit note to the distributor for the amount the distributor paid TSW for the wheel.

ROTARY FORGED® WHEELS /RF™ WHEELS by TSW are manufactured using a highly advanced production technique called rotary forging. Rotary Forged® Wheel /RF™ Wheels include the Interlagos Alloy Wheels, Nurburgring Alloy Wheels, Panorama Alloy Wheels and Tanaka Alloy Wheels are manufactured using a highly advanced production technique called Rotary Forging. The rim of the wheels is forged at high pressure while the wheel is spun at high speed. This alters the molecular structure and enhances the strength of the alloy. The benefit is a much lighter weight than a regular cast wheel. Most importantly, the weight saving is in the outer rim of the wheel which dramatically reduces rotational mass and enhances vehicle performance.

Some TSW wheel designs such as the Rivage Alloy Wheels have been enhanced utilizing a CNC Milling technique. CNC (computer numerical control) milling machines are used to perform complex drilling and contouring operations to enhance the design of these wheels.
